About

PicturePhoto by Amber-Lynn Thorne

Tessa Graham is a visual artist from rural Ontario who currently resides in St. John's, Newfoundland. She received her BFA in Visual Arts from Grenfell Campus, Memorial University in Corner Brook in 2015. She works primarily with silkscreen printmaking and film photography. Tessa is interested in the relationship between people and objects, and the sentimentality which manifests itself between the two. She uses motifs and forms of storytelling to reference these emotions. Throughout her process she explores elements of communication, the natural world, notions of beauty and underlying ways in which value or worth is measured .
